Unforced Goodness

Spiral Touchstone · Kunzite · Hackmanite · Inclusion-Rich Amethyst Quartz (Super Seven)

Stone Notes

Kunzite
A lithium-bearing variety of spodumene formed in pegmatitic environments, often displaying pale pink to violet hues.
Under ultraviolet light, kunzite can reveal a soft fluorescence not visible in ordinary conditions.
Its presence favors gentleness and responsiveness rather than intensity.

Hackmanite
A rare sulfur-bearing variety of sodalite known for its reversible color change when exposed to ultraviolet light.
Hackmanite changes color under ultraviolet light and slowly returns to its original state.
Its presence suggests adaptability without urgency.

Inclusion-Rich Amethyst Quartz (Super Seven)
A naturally occurring quartz containing multiple mineral inclusions formed through overlapping geological events.
Distinct elements coexist within a single matrix without collapsing into sameness.
This stone reflects coherence that emerges through inclusion rather than force.

Form

The bracelet follows a repeating sequence of kunzite, hackmanite, and inclusion-rich quartz set on German stainless steel spiral memory wire.

Larger 10 mm stones create a slower visual and tactile rhythm than our standard pieces, encouraging a steady point of attention.

The spiral returns naturally to the wrist without clasps or adjustment, a form that holds through tension rather than force.

Under certain lighting conditions, particularly sunlight or ultraviolet light, the kunzite and hackmanite may display a subtle luminescence. The effect is quiet and brief, more like moonlight than flame.

Maker’s Note

This piece was shaped through moonlight and slow looking.

Each stone was chosen for how it reveals itself over time. Kunzite carries a soft, moon-like glow. Hackmanite answers light with a brighter shifting fire. Inclusion-rich quartz holds small, self-contained worlds within its crystal body.

The title Unforced Goodness reflects that quality of gradual revealing.
Some forms of beauty do not insist on attention. They simply remain long enough to be noticed.

Materials & Construction

Stones: Kunzite, Hackmanite, Super Seven
Bead Size: 10 mm (larger than our standard 8 mm designs)
Bead Count: ~52–54 stones
Wire: German stainless steel spiral memory wire
Fit: Flexible spiral design that returns naturally to form without clasps

Hackmanite and kunzite in this bracelet respond differently to ultraviolet light. Kunzite releases a soft, moon-like glow, while hackmanite answers with a brighter shifting fire before gradually returning to its resting tone.

The change is brief and easy to miss, rewarding those who slow down enough to notice.
